Borders Animal Welfare take in dogs, cats and small animals that need re-homed. They receive no funding and rely totally on donations from the public to fund their work.

Dixie (left) and Pixie (right) are two very affectionate 14 year old cats.

Dixie is male and all ginger. He is in good health but does need one tablet a day for his thyroid condition. He is such a character and hardly ever stops purring!

Pixie is female and is ginger and white. They are the best of friends and prefer a quiet life but whoever they go to will not regret taking them. They are such wonderful, loving companions.
